Thunder's defeat Bobcats, 97-93, in preseason opener: Jeff Green scored 13 of his 25 points in the third quarter and Oklahoma City beat the Charlotte Bobcats 97-93 on Wednesday night in the Thunder's preseason opener. James Harden had 16 points, Serge Ibaka had 12 points and 11 rebounds and NBA scoring champion Kevin Durant added 12 for the Thunder. They never trailed in the fourth quarter and held the Bobcats without a field goal during the final seven minutes. With owner Michael Jordan looking on from a courtside seat, Tyrus Thomas scored 16 points and Gerald Wallace and Boris Diaw added 14 apiece for the Bobcats (0-2). (AP)

Single-Game Tickets Go On Sale Oct. 4
Single-game tickets for the first half of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 2010-11 season will go on sale Monday, Oct. 4, beginning at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased online at thunder.nba.com; at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Oklahoma City metro Homeland stores; or at the Arena Box Office.
Tickets will go on sale for two preseason games and 21 regular-season games up to and including the Jan. 13 game against the Orlando Magic. Single-game tickets start as low as $10 in Love’s Loud City and are based on availability.
Highlights of the early home schedule include Opening Night against the Chicago Bulls on Oct. 27; the Utah Jazz on Halloween night; the reigning Eastern Conference Champion Boston Celtics on Nov. 7; the San Antonio Spurs on Nov. 14, that team’s only season appearance in Oklahoma City; the Dallas Mavericks on Nov. 24, the evening before Thanksgiving; the Denver Nuggets on Christmas Night and the Atlanta Hawks on New Year’s Eve.
To ensure that tickets are available to as many Thunder fans as possible and due to increased season ticket and group sales, a maximum of two seats per transaction will be made available for the following games:
• Opening Night against the Chicago Bulls on Oct. 27
• Boston Celtics on Nov. 7
• Denver Nuggets on Christmas Night
• Orlando Magic on Jan. 13

Thunder Add Three to Roster
Pre Oklahoma City Thunder press release, Oklahoma City Thunder Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti announced today the team’s training camp roster for the 2010-11 season. The Thunder has added guard Demond “Tweety” Carter, guard Jerome Dyson and guard/forward Elijah Milsap to the roster for camp.
The Thunder will open training camp on Tuesday, Sept. 28, at the INTEGRIS Health Thunder Training Center. The Thunder will play its first preseason game on Wednesday, Oct. 6, when it faces the Charlotte Bobcats in Fayetteville, NC.
Carter (5-11, 185) played four seasons at Baylor University, averaging 11.0 points, 3.6 assists, 2.2 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 30.3 minutes in 131 games (89 starts). The Reserve, LA, native concluded his career as Baylor's all-time leader in Big 12 wins (29), games played (131) and minutes played (3,973).
Dyson (6-4, 190) was a four-year starter at Connecticut, averaging 14.4 points, 2.9 assists, 1.7 steals and 30.4 minutes in 113 games (106 starts). A native of Potomac, MD, he finished 12th all-time at UConn with 1,630 career points.
Milsap (6-6, 215) played last season with the University of Alabama-Birmingham after spending two seasons at Louisiana-Lafayette. In his lone season with the Blazers, the Grambling, LA, native averaged 16.1 points, 9.5 rebounds (ranked 1st in Conference USA), 1.8 assists, 1.6 steals and 33.1 minutes in 34 games (all starts). Krstic Undergoes Sugery
Thunder center Kristic likely to miss portion of training camp: Thunder center Nenad Krstic underwent surgery Tuesday morning in Oklahoma City to repair a fractured right index finger. Krstic will miss a portion of training camp, which begins Tuesday, but is expected to be ready for the team's season opener Oct. 27 against Chicago. But with the injury comes the first meaningful question going into the 2010-11 season. (The Oklahoman)
