Report: Kevin Durant hires new agent

Per The Oklahoman, One month after parting ways with the only representation he's ever known, Kevin Durant landed with Rob Pelinka of California-based Landmark Sports Agency, a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed to The Oklahoman on Monday.

SportsBusiness Journal first reported the agreement, which as of Monday afternoon had yet to be signed and formally submitted to the National Basketball Player's Association but is being considered a done deal.

Pelinka is a prominent agent who also represents Thunder guard James Harden in addition to Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant, Chicago's Carlos Boozer, Philadelphia's Andre Iguodala and New Jersey's Gerald Wallace among others.

Durant, who unexpectedly fired longtime agent Aaron Goodwin last month, was not available for comment Monday. “I really appreciate what the Goodwins did for me,” Durant said last month, “but it was time for me to move on.”
